3 Judd Power LMP2 cars entered by Race Performance, SO24! by Lombard Racing and IDEC Sport Racing took part in the Silverstone ELMS 4 hour race last weekend. The teams encountered some typically British weather during the event, having to deal with a snow shower, rain, wind and sunshine, conditions more suited to a rally than a sportscar endurance race!
The SO24! drivers, Vincent Capillaire, Olivier Lombard and Jonathan Coleman scored a dream result for their new team on its debut in the ELMS series, gaining 9 places during the race to finish on the podium. Race Performance had a good run to finish 6th with another new team, IDEC racing, finishing a very creditable 7th on their debut.
The next round takes place at Imola on 13/14/15 May.
